French Basics & Conversation Questions

Most of our students are having basic conversations within 4-6 weeks of consistent practice. We focus on real dialogue from week one, not just grammar rules, so you’re speaking actual French phrases from your first lesson.

Not at all—that’s exactly who we teach. Our Essential French Foundations course starts from zero and walks you through pronunciation, basic grammar, and everyday vocabulary step by step. No previous experience needed.

Foundations covers pronunciation, grammar, numbers, and basic vocabulary—the building blocks you need. Conversation Basics jumps into real scenarios: ordering food, asking directions, meeting people, and handling actual dialogues you’d use in Canada or when traveling.

We teach both. Since we’re based in Canada, we emphasize Québécois French and Canadian expressions, but you’ll learn the differences and pick up standard French too. Our lessons include real-world Canadian French you’ll actually hear.

Both. Our courses include interactive speaking practice with native speakers, not just video lessons. You’ll do live conversation sessions where you actually speak French and get real feedback on pronunciation and flow.

That works. Consistency beats length—15 minutes every day will get you much further than an hour once a week. Our lessons are designed in short modules so you can fit practice into your actual schedule.
